John Alvarado, former managing director in the capital markets group at Jones Lang LaSalle, has left the firm. Local commercial real estate sources say he is headed to CBRE.
An official at CBRE said he could neither confirm nor deny those rumors; Alvarado declined to comment.
At JLL, Alvarado focused on the disposition of office properties, particularly those in the Southwest region. Among other things, he performed due diligence for acquisitions and helped clients maximize value and develop exit strategies for single assets and portfolios. He has transacted more than $4 billion in office property trades during his career.
Jones Lang LaSalle provided the following statement:
“John Alvarado and Jones Lang LaSalle have mutually decided to part ways. We value the long-standing relationship we enjoyed with John and we wish him success in his future endeavors.”
