Park Place Dealerships is expanding its presence in Collin County. The company is planning a new 170,000-square-foot Lexus dealership on 27.5 acres at the southwest corner of the Dallas North Tollway and Spring Creek Parkway in Plano. Another five acres will be preserved for future expansion.
The multimillion-dollar project is expected to employ more than 100 during its construction phase; additionally, Park Place plans to add about 30 jobs—in repair, sales, and service—when its new dealership opens in 2013. The existing Park Place Lexus operation in Plano, which opened in 1991, currently employs about 300.
Ken Schnitzer, chairman of Park Place Dealerships; Jordan Case, president of Park Place Lexus; and Plano Mayor Phil Dyer will all be on hand for an official announcement ceremony at the site today at noon.
