Denbury Resources Inc. has leased 123,716 square feet of office space at The Campus at Legacy in Plano, bringing its total occupancy to about 500,000 square feet. It also extended the term of its existing lease, an agreement it signed in 2010, when it consolidated three locations after buying Encore Acquisition Co.
Jeff Ellerman of CBRE represented Denbury in its expansion. John Brownlee was the in-house representative for landlord KDC.
The Campus at Legacy is a three-building, 1.1 million-square-foot campus within Legacy business park. It formerly served the headquarters of EDS. Since redeveloping and rebranding the property in 2008, KDC has inked about 1 million square feet in deals, Brownlee said in a statement. The project currently is about 95 percent leased.
Denbury is expanding into space previously occupied by Safety Kleen.
