A trio of affiliated companies is relocating to Farmers Branch, leasing 51,000 square feet at 13995 Diplomat Drive, a 102,000-square-foot building off Stemmons Freeway that was built in 1999.

The companies—JMEG LP, JMMI Interests, and EAS Contracting—are coming out of space at 2941 Trade Center Drive in nearby Carrollton.

The deal takes the facility to 100 percent leased, said Blake Kendrick of Stream Realty Partners, who represented the landlord in the transaction. The property is owned by Hay & Jones Inc.

The Amend Group’s John Amend, B.D. Amend, and J.W. Amend represented the tenants in their search and lease negotiations. John Amend said the Farmers Branch building was an optimal solution, one that can accommodate the companies’ growth and continued success.

About 82 administrative employees will take occupancy of the new space in late fall 2012. The companies also have about 600 field personnel in North Texas and more than 1,000 employees statewide.
