LA Fitness has signed a long-term lease for 45,000 square feet in the Old Town Shopping Center. The company’s new club will be built on the site of a former Borders bookstore located at the northeast corner of Lovers Lane and Greenville Avenue in Dallas.
John Zikos, Jonathan Cooper, and Chris Booras of Venture Commercial represented the tenant in the lease, working with Walt Brown Jr. and Tim Dollander of Diversified Partners. Elizabeth Allen and Michelle Caplan of The Weitzman Group represented the landlord.
Razing of the existing building is under way, in preparation for construction of the new club, which is slated to open at the end of the year.
