A global investment firm has decided to stay put at The Tower at Cityplace, a 42-story tower just north of downtown Dallas along North Central Expressway. Hudson Advisors/Lone Star has renowned its lease for 110,652 square feet in the building.
The tenant was represented in the deal by Dan Paterson with Swearingen Realty Group LLC. Jeff Schweitzer, Sarah Erickson and Tommy Nelson of Stream Realty Partners represented the landlord, Barrow Street Capital.
Schweitzer said access to on-site amenities was a clinching factor in the decision to renew. “Very few buildings in the city offer a similar amenities package,” he said.
Among the perks: a conference center, Larry North Fitness, a food court, a cafeteria, DART rail access, and robust tech infrastructure.
The 1.2 million-square-foot Cityplace, at 2711 N. Haskey Ave., is the tallest non-downtown office tower in Dallas. It’s about 86 percent leased; the largest contiguous available space is 120,000 square feet.
