Adam Saphier, who has led the Dallas-Fort Worth operations of Trammell Crow Co. since January of 2010, has been named president of central operations for the firm. Along with North Texas, Saphier will now oversee the firm’s Austin, Houston, and Chicago business units. This involves all development and acquisition activities, new business pursuits, finance, and operations. He’ll continue to be based in Dallas and report to Chicago-based CEO Danny Queenan.
Queenan said in a statement that Saphier “has demonstrated all the qualities of a strong leader who embraces teamwork and a commitment to creating exceptional results. He is also a relentless advocate for re-inventing and bolstering TCC’s identity, both internally and externally.”
Saphier joined Trammell Crow in Houston in 2005, where he worked until his promotion to managing director of Dallas-Fort Worth in early 2010. Since then, he has been involved with a whopping 400,000 square feet of office projects in North Texas. Saphier, a LEED-certified professional, also serves as a member of the firm’s sustainability task force.
Since its founding in Dallas in 1948, Trammell Crow has developed or acquired more than 525 million square feet of commercial space, with a value that tops $55 billion. It operates as an independently owned subsidiary of Los Angeles-based CBRE Group Inc.
