United Commercial Realty is boosting its North Texas office with three new hires. Joining as COO is Woodrow “Woody” T. McMinn, who will oversee UCR operations company-wide, including human resources, corporate real estate, IT, finance, and broker support.
Firm President Mickey Ashmore said McMinn’s hiring was critical as the company continues to expand and grow its business and service lines.
Before joining UCR, McMinn spent 16 years with Archon Group LP, where he served as chief administrative officer. In the role, he was responsible for corporate real estate services. He also led the company’s lead philanthropic effort that supported Dallas CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children), raising a total of $8.5 million for the organization.
Meanwhile, UCR Urban, a division of UCR, has named Amy MacLaren and Michael Miller as senior vice presidents. Both will handle project leasing and tenant representation for UCR Urban’s lifestyle, mixed-use, urban and specialty projects and retailers.
MacLaren, formerly with General Growth Properties, will oversee leasing of Manhattan Village in Manhattan Beach, Calif., the Clearfork Development in Fort Worth, and The Shops at Highland Village in Highland Village.
Miller joins UCR from SRS Real Estate Partners, where he was a vice president in charge of the leasing teams for West 7th in Fort Worth and Sylvan|Thirty in Kessler Park and also handled several high-profile restaurant tenant representation accounts.
Prior to SRS, Miller spent 14 years in various roles at Henry S. Miller Cos., at one point managing leasing for 2 million square feet of shopping center space.
