Helen Rivero and Kirby White have opened a regional office for Rosemont Realty Services in Dallas. Both previously held executive posts at Crescent Real Estate.
Rosemont Realty Services is a division of Santa Fe, N.M.-based Rosemont Realty LLC, which owns more than 16 million square feet of commercial space valued at more than $1.5 billion.
Rivero has been named regional principal. She previously was vice president of joint venture asset management at Crescent, and also held posts at Cassidy Turley, Stream Realty Partners, and Archon Group.
White will serve as managing director of leasing/sales and relationship management; he previously was director of leasing at Crescent and was responsible for the firm’s downtown Dallas portfolio.
The new Dallas office joins other Rosemont regional posts in Albuquerque, Atlanta, Denver, Houston, and San Antonio.
“Our decision to bring the leasing in-house in due in large part to Helen and Kirby joining our team,” said Jeffrey V. Langdon, president of Rosemont Realty Services, in a statement. “Both Helen and Kirby bring many years of management and customer service experience to Rosemont, along with a wealth of
knowledge about the Dallas commercial real estate market.”
Locally, the company owns six assets that total about 1.4 million square feet of space:
• 8080 North Central Expressway (Dallas)
• The Summit at Las Colinas (545 E. John Carpenter Freeway, Las Colinas)
• 9400 North Central Expressway (Dallas)
• Chase Bank (1301 S. Bowen Road, Arlington)
• Park Springs Place (4025 Woodland Park Blvd., Arlington)
• Amber Trail (1711 & 17177 Preston Road, Dallas)
The Dallas group has taken occupancy of space in The Summit at Las Colinas. Plans call for the 11-person team to grow to about 20 within a year, Langdon said. Along with overseeing the Rosemont assets, the group aims to pursue third-party service opportunities.
During the past 18 months, Rosemont Realty has acquired 2 million square feet of office space valued at about $250 million. And it’s targeting more buys.
The company is looking to acquire real estate across the United States, and has a particular focus on Texas, Langdon said.
“The opening of this regional services office and the acquisition of such well-regarded talent as Helen and Kirby to our team is designed to better meet the needs of our customers in our growing portfolio of Class A office buildings in the region.”
