Del Frisco’s Grille has leased 9,000 square feet of retail space in the Commerce Building at Sundance Square. The two-story eatery, at 420 Commerce St., will feature a large plaza and open late next year. Del Frisco’s is the first restaurant to lease space in the new plaza at Sundance Square, a 35-block retail and entertainment district in downtown Fort Worth.
“As a Texas-based company we are thrilled to open Del Frisco’s Grille in Fort Worth, and Sundance Square is an ideal location,” said Mark S. Mednansky, CEO of Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group. “We have enjoyed great success already in Fort Worth with our Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House on Main Street, and we are grateful to our loyal guests whom we look forward to seeing so often.”
Johnny Campbell, president and CEO of Sundance Square, said Del Frisco’s is the “first of many announcements we will have in the next few months about retail and restaurants in the plaza. The excitement will continue to grow as we get closer to completion.”
Other Del Frisco’s Grilles are located in New York, Washington D.C., Dallas, Atlanta, and Phoenix, with additional sites planned for Santa Monica, Houston and Boston in 2013.
