Behringer Harvard hires a new sales director, CBRE promotes one of its own, and Jones Lang LaSalle makes some c-suite changes in this week’s Personnel Moves.
• Casey Herren has joined Behringer Harvard as institutional sales director of the Western Region, where he is responsible for developing institutional channel distribution strategies. Herren has more than 10 years of experience in managing and servicing investment relationships, new business development, and strategic marketing. Most recently, he was director of business development at Dallas-based Highland Capital Management LP, a credit hedge fund.
• Kevin Kelly has been promoted to first vice president at CBRE, where he specializes in industrial food facilities on a national basis. Kevin’s clients include some of the largest companies in the food processing, food service, grocery, and cold storage industries, in addition to many smaller food companies throughout the country.
• At its home base in Chicago, Jones Lang LaSalle has made some changes at the top. Lauralee Martin, chief operating and financial officer, will become CEO, Americas. She succeeds Peter Roberts, who will become chief strategy officer. During Roberts’ 10-year tenure, the company saw its Americas region revenue grow sixfold, through both organic growth and key mergers, including its acquisition of The Staubach Co.
Martin joined JLL in 2002 as CFO. Her role was expanded to include operations in 2005. A search is under way for her replacement.
