Bush Beltline Distribution Center, under construction by Billingsley Co. at the intersection of Belt Line Road and State Highway 190, is filling up fast. Slated for completion in July, the 300,000-square-foot industrial building is already 86 percent leased.
The latest tenant to sign on for space is Mattress Firm, which is taking 153,000 square feet. It joins another 106,000-square-foot tenant in the building. About 41,000 square feet remains available.
The property offers 32-foot clear height, cross-docks, and large 135-foot truck courts. There’s also 3 acres of land along Belt Line Road for new development and retail pad sites.
Billingsley Co.’s Marijke Lantz and Carter T. Crow put the Mattress Firm deal together. The tenant was represented by Damian Rivera and Graham Horton of Stream Realty Partners. They said the site will serve as a flagship distribution center and national training center for the specialty retailer.
Be watching for more dirt to turn. Crow says Billingsley is focused on expanding its presence as a build-to-suit developer this year.
