The Berkshire at Preston Center, which was built in 1984, is undergoing a $2.8 million renovation.

Updates will include $1.5 million in upgrades to the main lobby, exterior, and garage, as well as a $1.3 million elevator touch-screen control panels in the building’s eight elevators.

Staffelbach is handling design, Scott & Reid General Contractors will perform the improvements.

The 185,000-square-foot office building in Preston Center sits at the corner of Berkshire Lane and the Dallas North Tollway. Energy Star-rated and LEED-certified, the property is 88 percent leased with about 50,000 square feet remaining available.

The Berkshire is Energy Star rated, LEED certified, and is currently 88 percent leased with approximately 49,534 rentable square feet available for lease.

Scott Walker and Duane Henley of Transwestern exclusively lease the building on behalf of its owner, BPC Corp.
